OVERVIEW
Built in 1848, the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist supports the 710,000 Catholic parishioners that call Northeast Ohio home.
The historic restoration and renovation project consists of several upgrades and renovations to the property, including masonry restoration and lighting retrofit (interior and exterior), mechanical tunnel renovations and improvements, interior painting, HVAC repair and replacement, and hardscape repairs and replacements.
The project was completed to coincide with the 175th anniversary of the Cathedral.
Flats Construction was hired to restore the historic doors and hardware. Turn-key renovations to the rectory and living quarters were completed in conjunction with the Cathedral renovations.
